Selling Your Home?
So are We!
We staged our custom home with Artist's Studio in Redding, CT with the help of Susan Buzaid of Olley Court and WPSIR. Over the next few Posts I'll take you room by room and explain the basic "clean up" and steps to successfully ready your home to be seen and sell online.
First up is the Family Room which is open to the kitchen. I know many will say the first photograph feels "homey" and why clear it out? Well, the room needed a fresh coat of paint, so all was going to have to be removed and we didn't want to mark up fresh walls with nail holes. Can you spy the changes done to de-clutter?
After reinstalling the mirror, we knew we wanted some pops of color in all that beige, so we used my REXON PHOTO image over the fireplace and I kept an oil painting by Dick McEvoy on an ornate easel. Art work can draw you in to any room with design and color and since only basic furniture remained, the potential buyer can see the dimensions of the room. Follow along and comment on the final transformation!!
